I finished moving everything to a new server. All pages should be viewable again.

If anyone sees any pages that are still down or out of order, please tell me.

I'm NOT paying them money to continue using a free service I've been using the last 15 years

...Okay, it's gonna be a pain, but I'm going to switch all the links to a new site. don't expect this to happen quickly. But I will try to do it all eventually.

Until then, the full comic is still available on my DeviantArt page:
Navigation is a little messier, but at least you can still see the damn thing.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Did you know...

The majority of the story was written out in little pictures like this: before i drew it. But the last 1 1/2 chapters i pretty much made up as i went along :o

The spike that fell in love with frog Mario was originally going to say something way more inappropriate. But I thought better of it.

The page size was originally determined by the largest height I could fit on my computer screen without having to scroll.

Most of the colors i used in my pallet came directly from the 32-bit version of the game. (Though some things, like the koopalings, were colors I had to choose myself)

When I started this comic, I was 16. Now I'm a college graduate.

The comic was originally meant to be a single page gag. But I liked the concept so much I just kept expanding on it.

The super mushroom doesn't show up once in the entire comic. In fact, it's the only power up that doesn't appear. (Unless you count the anchor...)

The reason i chose to do this game is simply because I had never seen anyone else do it. There are quite a few comics out there about the original game, and the Super Mario Kun manga (which has and adorable style but generally terrible story) has made one for practically every game starting with Super Mario World.

I accidentally made a transition from World 5 to World 7 in one page. I published and didn't realize what I'd done until someone mentioned it.

Ok, I'm back

The hiatus on both SMB3 and Team Awesome is officially over! Two new pages of TA are up and expect more SMB3 in the next week or so.

Hi guys,

I'm super sorry that I haven't updated in 2 months, but this is my last semester in college and I'm really busy. I promise things will pick up again when I graduate in December. Don't expect any major progress before that, though I may release a page or two over Thanksgiving break.

In the meantime, feel free to check out my BFA porfolio multi-part animation, Laika: First Dog in Space

The next page should be done by the end of the week (probably before that though)
